So to pay for all the fun and grandeur that I experienced at Yaoi-Con I will participate in Nanowrimo 2012 and will post my efforts here in the WIP (Works in Progress) section of my site. The spirit of the event is to write a novel of 50,000 words in one month. I'm spinning it to finish "On Swift Wings." All the characters have been introduced and now the story can continue.

I've slept 3 hours in the past 2 days...so if this doesn't make sense, well you've been warned.Yaoi-Con 2012 is over. As with all cons there were good things and bad things but I like to focus on the good stuff especially since it involves adorable little moi. Everything went Milhouse for me! As mentioned before, SLPG sold out of hard copies of Cake. I signed when I was zipping in and out of the dealers room and I signed when I was tracked down as I was volunteering. I signed and I loved it.

And the countdown is on. One more day before I get on that jetplane and head to the land of sun and surf (which I will not be partaking in because I am prone to heatstroke and my meds will turn me orange.)

Greetings oh Loyal and True...I have news from the land of Yaoi-Con. My panel suggestion has been picked up so "Universe Building Thru Writing" will be running Saturday at 3 p.m. Remember I bribe. I have a X, S or A plushie as well as a Claudius plushie to give away. They are dressed like the cover of Cinder. So remember, come on down and meet their maker....hahahahaha....I love that song.
I've got my whiteboard, I've got my barrel of monkeys...still looking for a cone stand... XD

11 Days to Yaoi-con and I have finally been notified that I do have a panel -- "World Building in Writing." Looking for a cone thread stand and a barrel full of monkeys, white board, dry erase markers and a scrubbie thing. Why you may ask? Ask away, you'll find out if you go my panel. Hahahahahahaa. I prefer demonstrations to lectures. The last thing I want to do is read a slide to the audience as they re-read it, and re-read it....and so on and so forth.

Just when you think it's safe to get back into the Internet, I am once again unleashed (cough cough, leather collar was a little restricting) and I am happily posting once again. Rather than leaving your the wonderful background to stare at, the cover up the upcoming Blood Nation novel series : Cinnamon, I was lucky enough to take a workshop on wordpress and can now mess around with this site without the fear of hitting the wrong toggle and sending everything into oblivion. So, I will try and keep this up and running and populated with little bits of my writing....

I was approached to do an interview with a now defunct webzine. It went defunct before I could get it back to them, and I just not found it again. It's lengthy and it's dated (pre-CAKE) but I'm in a sharing kind of mood.
When did you first start writing stories?
